Boost the Focus of Your Day by Answering “What Would Make Today Great?”

It can be difficult to focus on the really important things these days when everything seems important and to-do lists can be kind of hell . Instead of dealing with congestion, start by answering, “What could make today a great day?” identify things that will make you happy .

This question is one of several tips the Five Minute Journal (5MJ) asks you to complete on a daily basis. 5MJ – a physical magazine (or application ) and logging method for people who did not really want to spend time on maintenance log, but still want to get the benefits . In fact, I started using 5MJ a few months ago because it was very difficult for me to keep a diary. Because the question “What could make today great?” the question had a wonderful effect on my concentration, mood and positivity. It helped me really narrow down my priorities, some of which weren’t even career related. Some of them were as simple as “Call my mom to tell her that I love her.”

So ask, “What could make today a great day?” and write at least three things. It can be a regular notebook. As Aaron Orendorf points out at Mashable, using a specific tool like 5MJ doesn’t matter. That is, deliberately devote time in the morning to accomplishing some significant mini-goals. And with the record, you can see what is going on and understand that you may not have been working on what you were supposed to be in the end.
