Easily Cuts PVC, ABS Pipes and Nylon Rope With Mason’s Line
Some pipes are too tight on a saw or other cutting tool. Mason’s line, a cheap, durable nylon rope, can do the trick and cut other things like rope quickly.
In this video from the Essential Craftsmen YouTube channel, you will learn how to use the bricklayer’s line and see how well it works. Simply pull the line underneath the line you want to cut and alternately pull each end. The mason’s line is so easy to cut because it is slightly abrasive, and the back and forth movement causes friction and heat that melt easily through the plastic.
