Will It Be Sous Vide? Let’s Pick a Different Theme!

Greetings, sous vide lovers! And welcome back to yet another immersive topic-making session forWill It Sous Vide? , a weekly column where I do whatever you want with my immersion circulator.

We got a super cheesy flavor last week with all kinds of delicious cream cheese based sauces and loved it. But now it’s time to move on to our next topic, and I have a few suggestions:

  • Reheating leftovers: leftover steak, leftover pizza (I think I saw the comment on this in the cheese sauce post), leftover pasta, even leftover cheese sauce from last week: these are all good candidates for reheating sous videotape.
  • Juicy Lucy: I still want to make this damn burger.
  • Whole fish: I’m surprised we haven’t done that yet. I think it would be very tasty. I don’t like almost any friend with fins, except for catfish, which only needs to be fried.
