Make Your Home Delightful With Baked Air Freshener Made From Scraps
There are many products out there that eliminate odors and refresh your home, but you can easily make your own as well. This DIY baked air freshener smells great, is easy to prepare, and uses up leftover food.
As Apartment Therapy ‘s Laurie Siegel explains, all you need is dried sweet spices like cinnamon, nutmeg or dried vanilla powder, some butter, and a few inedible nuggets of your favorite fruit. Place the scraps on a piece of waxed paper, tin foil, or a small dish, add the oil, then add the spices and bake it all in the oven at 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The pleasant smell should last for a couple of hours.
