Insulate Window Cracks With Bubble Wrap
Insulating windows in cold weather is a great way to get rid of any remaining bubble wrap . You can also use it to seal cracks around a window frame. Here’s how.
If you don’t want to cover your windows with bubble wrap, or if you have particularly bad cracks that need to be closed, simply cover them with bubble wrap to insulate. Apply a strip of bubble wrap to the window frame in the center of the crack. Use a butter knife or other thin object to press the bubble wrap into the crack. Continue until the crack is filled with bubble wrap. The corner of the bubble wrap should protrude from the crack so that you can easily remove the bubble wrap later with tweezers. You should also leave a small gap at the top or bottom for air to enter and exit so that condensation does not build up in winter.
