Whisply Easily Encrypts and Shares Files Via Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive
We have previously used BoxCryptor , which makes it easy to encrypt files on your computer. However, if you only need to encrypt a few files and don’t want to install the app, Whisply can help.
Whisply is owned by the same company as BoxCryptor. It allows you to upload multiple files, choose their security level, and then choose a cloud storage service to upload. Whisply claims it has no file size limit, but recommends avoiding uploads over 10MB.
Of course, if you need to be extra careful with encrypted documents, you might not want to upload them to a third-party service. However, this fills in a convenient niche for those who need to keep their files secure but are not familiar with how encryption tools work, or if you need to encrypt a file from outside the desktop. It can also serve as a useful introduction to encryption in general.
