Wine, Software That Helps Run Windows Applications on Mac and Linux, Has Reached Version 2.0
Mac / Linux: Wine has long been the best free open source tool for running Windows applications on Mac and Linux. Today it finally released version 2.0, which brings support for Microsoft Office 2013, 64-bit software on Mac, and more.
In addition to new support for 64-bit software and Office, the update also includes improved font handling, improved drag-and-drop support, and support for many new graphics cards. As always, work on Wine is still ongoing, but the latest release marks great strides in what software it can support.
