The Correct Way to Use the Press Roller
The first time you use the ab machine is soothing. If you’ve never seen one, this is a simple wheel with handles that probably sits in the corner of your gym or your friend’s basement. You grab the handles, roll them away from the body and … fall face down.
This is of course not how it should work. If you have good technique and a super strong rod, you can roll the wheel back and forth slowly and in perfect control. The video above shows you how to do this and includes a demonstration of two common reasons people do wrong.

First, practice using the correct muscles when doing the plank . When you go to the press roller, pull the roller only as far as you can control it, even if it’s only a few inches. After some practice, you will never have to fall face down again.
