Will It Be Sous Vide? Let’s Pick a Different Theme!
Hello everyone! And welcome back to yet another fun theme-making session forWill It Sous Vide? , a weekly column where I do whatever you want with my immersion circulator.
The coffee experiment last week was very fun and educational and I want to thank Chris again for all his help. I would love to do something meaty this week, because it’s cold and I’m hungry. Some ideas:
- Another whole bird: both left whole and smashed to pieces. I think the duck would be the most fun (delicious).
- Roasting Chicken Before Roasting: As one of the commenters pointed out in our post on coffee, while you can’t roast anything using sous vide cooking, you can use it to add a ton of flavor, and maybe we could brine the chicken in brine. at low temperature and then fry.
- Oxtail: I think we know everything will go well, but let’s just try to be sure.
