Zoho Notebook Is a Card-Based Alternative to Evernote for Android, IPhone and Mac
Android / iPhone / Mac: You have many options for note-taking apps, including the heavyweights like Evernote and OneNote . Zoho Notebook takes the same comprehensive approach as Evernote and OneNote, but has a few design ideas of its own.
Zoho Notebook reminds me of the combination of Paper and Google Keep. You start by creating notebooks that resemble physical notebooks. Inside these notebooks are cards. These cards can be lists, pictures, maps, pictures, audio, or clippings from the Internet . You can stack cards on top of each other to form groups, or leave them as separate pages. Zoho is generally known for its enterprise tools, but laptop apps are far from what you think of when you think of enterprise apps. Mobile apps were introduced in the middle of last year, but they have evolved into something much more usable since then.
Today they introduced a Mac app that should be useful to a small subset of desktop users, although it still lacks a Windows app. However, it’s free and worth checking out if you’re still not happy with OneNote or Evernote.
