Laminate Flyers With “Lost Pet” Lettering to Extend Their Lifespan
If you live in an area prone to rainy or windy weather, leaflets attached to telephone poles do not last long. This trick will extend your lost pet flyers so you have a better chance of finding your furry friend.
After you’ve printed a bunch of flyers with your pet’s picture, name, and contact information, laminate a few of the flyers. It is too expensive to laminate every piece of paper you make, but you can protect some and place them at high traffic intersections in your area. The plastic will keep the rain from washing away the ink or melting the paper, and the staples will hold on to the plastic laminate better than if it were just paper. Bonus tip: if you see a “lost pet” flyer on your neck in the woods, take a picture of it with your smartphone. That way, if you come across a cat or dog that seems to be lost, you will surely know if it is the right one.
