The Most and Least Expensive Cities for Short-Term Rentals

Renting a vacation home is a great way to feel right at home while you’re away. This data shows the places where vacation rentals are the cheapest and most expensive.

The data comes from the personal finance website Priceonomics, which analyzed the Datafiniti client’s rental database. The result is several charts detailing which parts of the country have the cheapest vacation rentals and which ones are the most expensive.

Unsurprisingly, New York is among the most expensive, while California is closer to the middle. At the city level, Orlando is considered one of the cheapest, making it an even more tourist-friendly destination. Other cities such as Detroit, Detroit, Philadelphia and Milwaukee round out the list. You can check out the full report below for tons of additional data to help you plan your next vacation.
