Where is it best
CPlus isn’t flashy, but it works reliably, has the basic functionality you need, and gives you access to essential Craigslist elements without having to deal with the horrible mobile site Craigslist.
You can do whatever you can on plain old Craigslist with CPlus, which means posting, editing, and viewing. It also adds some new features like new keyword announcement notifications, easy ways to save lists for future use, and the ability to add notes to those saved lists, which comes in handy when you’re comparing different items. …
Where it fails
CPlus is easy to maintain, which is great, but it doesn’t really add a ton to the Craigslist experience. If you’re looking for a Craigslist heavy use management app, beyond what a basic web app can do, you won’t find one here. When you land on the real list, it’s essentially just a redesigned version of the Craigslist mobile site, making it difficult to reach anyone from within the app itself.
Competition
Qwilo (free / 99 ยข) is CPlus’s most direct competitor. Functionally, Qwilo and CPlus are pretty much identical, but Qwilo is slightly more modernized in design. There’s a handy night mode, a large contact button on each sheet, and Qwilo is optimized for both iPad and iPhone. However, Qwilo blocks saved searches and notifications for $ 1 paid access. It’s not that much, but the fact that CPlus includes both for free makes this possible. Plus, the differences between the two are mostly aesthetic, so it’s only worth looking at if you don’t like CPlus.
The only other suitable option is CSmart (free / $ 2.99), which also turns out to be supremely outdated and ugly. However, it is comparable in function to Qwilo and CPlus. If for some reason you don’t like the design of Qwilo or CPlus, then it might be worth taking a look at CSmart.
