UHP Alarm Forces You to Walk a Specific Path Before It Turns Off
iOS: There is no shortage of alarm clock apps to choose from, and many have creative ways to make sure you get out of bed . The UHP alarm clock will get you out of bed by tracking your way.
The app costs $ 1.99, but it does a good job of helping you get out of bed. When you wake up, it asks you where you want to go, and if you don’t follow the path you indicated, the alarm will not turn off. You can also connect your Facebook and Twitter accounts to use the app’s alarm clock on social media. If you don’t wake up on time, the app will post a status update on your channels, notifying your subscribers that you were asleep.
When I downloaded the app, I didn’t have to send email or any other contact information to use it. I just set the alarm, then wrote down my path and it worked. Obviously, you need to enable location access, and if you link your social media accounts to the app, you pass that information along as well. But according to their privacy policy, they do not share this information:
By submitting your email address and contact information through any forms on this site, you agree to receive information from BeauxApps, LLC. We promise not to abuse this and not share your contact information with third parties. In the (very unlikely) case of a transfer of ownership to BeauxApps, LLC, we will do our best to notify you.
You can read their full policy here . If you’re looking for an Android alternative, I love Morning Routine . It doesn’t make you walk, but you can use the Scan Barcode feature to spoof it (for example, make sure you have the barcode in your bathroom so you have to get up to go off the alarm).
