How to Make Sure Your Address Is Correct on Google Homepage

Google recently released its own home voice assistant aptly named Google Home . It can do all sorts of cool things, but some of its functions may not work correctly if your home or work address is not configured properly from the start.

As CNET points out, some features, such as weather or traffic updates, depend on your address, and if your location is incorrect, the information may not be entirely correct. The fix for this problem is fairly straightforward. They explain:

1. Open the Google Home app on your iOS or Android device.
2. Click the hamburger button in the upper left corner of the app.
3. Select Advanced Settings .
4. Scroll down and select Personal Information in Google Account Settings .
5. Tap Home and work addresses .
6. Enter your home address and tap OK .
7. If desired, enter your work address and tap OK .
