This Simple DIY Magnetic Frame Won’t Damage Your Posters
Frames can be expensive, especially for large posters or art, but some DIY options either take a lot of time and a lot of materials or don’t look good. Make this magnetic frame a simple, beautiful frame that lets your posters shine and is easy to swap and shoot.
Aside from being easy to make, this frame uses magnets to hold your drawings in place so they don’t damage your posters, and when you’re tired of the look, you can quickly swap out the poster. You will need a half-inch Forstner drill bit, four 1 and ¾-inch wide wood strips for your design, 12 half-inch magnets, two eyelets for screws, E6000 glue, or some other strong adhesive.
Drill three holes in each tree and glue a magnet to each. Make sure you use oppositely charged magnets on each tree at the top and bottom so that they stick to each other. Attach the eyelets to the end of one of the top timber bars. Place the poster between the bottom and top and hang it by tying a piece of string to the screw’s ears.
