HandBrake Finally Leaves Beta, Improves Presets, Gets a Little Easier to Use
HandBrake is the best DVD burning and video converting tool on both Windows and Mac, and after 13 years of development, it has finally arrived at version 1.0.
Even if you don’t burn DVD, Handbrake has always been a useful tool for converting between the two video formats. To this end, HandBrake is much easier to use, with a new set of presets that make it easy to convert to a range of popular device-specific video formats. The update is also a bit easier to use, especially on the Mac, where they’ve simplified the main menu screen and options bar so it’s a little less confusing.
