Foap Makes It Easy to Sell Photos on Your Phone.
If you enjoy photographing and making money, you can combine the two. Easier said than done, of course, but Foap makes it easy to sell your photos to brands as stock photos.
The free app connects smartphone photographers with brands such as Bank of America and Nivea. After downloading the app and creating a profile, you upload the photos, then a few tags and sign them. If you’re lucky, you’ll sell a few. Photos sell for $ 5, but you can sell the same photo to different customers. You can also use Foap Albums to store other users’ photos. They will get more attention and you will get a small commission if their photos are sold from your album. You can see how this is done in the video above.
Brands also post job vacancies in photos. On the sales tab, you can go to missions and you will see a list of brands and specific missions such as Christmas Recipes (mission via Getty images). Anyone can post photos on the Mission and the brand selects the winners. Payouts range from $ 200 to $ 500, and you can also view Winners to see which photos have been selected.
You can read the full terms of service here , but selling your photos through Foap means that you grant buyers the non-exclusive right to use your photo without involving you as a photographer.
You probably won’t get rich with the app, but it’s pretty fun if you love taking photos anyway. Check it out on the links below.
