First-Person Perspective on How to Tie a Tie

There are a million websites dedicated to explaining the different ways to tie a tie, but watching someone do it is different from doing it yourself. To minimize the mental gymnastics required, YouTuber BeatTheBush came up with the idea to record a first-person video showing a common way to tie a tie.

Most tie explainers depict directions as if you were watching someone tie their tie facing you, which requires you to rotate the directions 180 degrees so that you can mimic the movements from your point of view. BeatTheBush ditches this with a simple first-person video. He chooses the Windsor knot, probably the most common method. Given that I only wear a tie a few times a year, I admit that I still googled it a lot to figure out how to get it right. And this, of course, is not the only way to do it .
