Wrap Gifts Without Ribbon or Ribbon Using This Japanese Method
There is something a little inelegant about sealing gifts with strange pieces of ribbon. This is literally rough duct tape for wrapping gifts. If you don’t have tape or tape to avoid the sticky aesthetic, this Japanese method can be used to keep your gifts wrapped without sticky tape.
YouTuber BeatTheBush demonstrates the techniquein this video . The key here is to fold the wrapping paper so that the last piece of paper can go inside by itself. This will only work with boxes and it will probably take a few tries, but otherwise it’s relatively straightforward. You really need to see how it’s done to figure out what folds are needed, so watch the video and get started.
