Build Your Own Mobile Digital Library to Share Books From Anywhere With Anyone
Ever wanted to easily share your collection of DIY PDFs, books or magazines? Adafruit has a guide on how to turn your Raspberry Pi Zero into a small free digital library that you can take with you wherever you go.
This project essentially turns the Raspberry Pi into a Wi-Fi hotspot and small web server that hosts your books or magazines. If you want to share your library collection with someone, just plug in the Pi and it can connect to its Wi-Fi network. Sure, there are tons of easier ways to do this, like the Dropbox public folder, but it’s much more fun. This makes sense especially when the publishers themselves can share their books for free. It doesn’t have to be just for books, music files, pictures, games, or whatever else you do, it will work too. Just make sure you use it for good, instead of spreading other people’s stuff.
