New Google Drive Backup Tool Makes It Easy to Migrate From IOS to Android
Apple has its own tool to help users switch from Android to iOS , but Google can’t get a similar app from App Store moderators. Instead, Google just launched a backup tool on an already approved Google Drive.
According to Google’s guide to switching, install the Drive app on your iPhone and launch the backup wizard by going to Menu> Settings> Backup. This is where you can back up your contacts, calendar events, photos, and more. When you set up your Android phone, you can import all of this data. This is sort of a workaround as Apple won’t let the dedicated app switch to Android, but it should work fine.
