Facebook Deploys Tools to Report Fake News and Hoaxes
Fake news has been a topic of discussion over the past few weeks , and today Facebook finally rolled out tools to help you deliver fake news so it doesn’t spread anymore.
Going forward, you will see the option to report any link as fake in the report dropdown. When you do, third-party fact-checkers will verify the post and if the post is determined to be fake, the link will be flagged as such. Time will tell how effective it is, but soon it should appear among users.
