The Easiest Way to Gift Wrapping a Cylindrical Item
It’s time to think about how you can package some of the gifts so they don’t look like they’ve been attacked by a wild animal. Rectangular gifts and even intricate objects have simple solutions , but folds at the ends of a cylindrical gift? Oh boy. Luckily, here’s an easy way you can try.
After measuring how much wrapping paper you need to wrap along the length of the object, the hardest part is figuring out how much paper you need to cover the ends. According to the video, you first define the center of the circle and make sure the side of the wrapping paper reaches that center (about halfway up). You now have enough paper to make a series of folds to (neatly) go around the gift. It takes time and patience, but the end result looks like a spectacular turntable pattern.
