Make a Bird Feeder and Squirrels Out of Old Wrap-Arounds
Who goes down the stairs, alone or in pairs, and … feeds the animals in your yard? It’s tight! If you’re looking for a fun weekend project, here’s how you can turn it into a wildlife feeder.
In this video from YouTube channel HouseholdHacker, you will see how this old Slinky sitting in your toy chest can find a new life with a few simple tweaks. You will need steel duct clips from the hardware store, a thin wire or bar to hang it up, and of course a Slinky (metal is best). Make a large loop with the duct clip, slip on the Slinky, then staple it together. Once that’s done, lay out the Slinky and fill it with peanuts to make it look like a nut-filled whisk. Now hang it on a tree and watch the birds and squirrels fly in and collect as many peanuts as they can.
