Break the Chocolate Bar Quickly and Evenly With a Rolling Pin
Most chocolate bars are designed to be cut into smaller portions, but some of the larger, thicker chocolates are more difficult to separate by hand. This simple trick will help you bake or snack almost instantly.
In this YouTube video, DaveHax demonstrates a clever way to break a chocolate bar in just a few seconds. Just grab the bar while it’s still in the wrapper and roll it over a rolling pin (or wine bottle), then turn it 90 degrees and do it again. You should feel like all of the pieces are separated at the set break points inside. You can also do this with a rounded edge on the countertop. This is a great trick when you’re baking or just sharing a giant chocolate bar with your friends.
