Handle for Gmail Brings Your Email, Tasks and Calendar Together
Chrome / iOS: Handle is a productivity add-on that should have been made by Google. It seamlessly combines emails, to- do lists, and calendars to make Gmail your central productivity hub .
Handle can even force you to convert Google Inbox back to good old Gmail. This is the best Gmail to-do list implementation I’ve ever seen. Here is a summary of some of his many abilities:
- Enter “T” to turn the letter you are reading into a to-do list. All information from the letter will be automatically copied to the to-do list.
- Add a reminder, due date, or notes to any to-do item on your to-do list. You can also assign it to a project to keep track of it. Reminders work with Google conversational operators, such as “tomorrow” or “at 5:00 pm”. You can also create location-based reminders.
- Handle also has a built-in calendar for your projects and to-do’s that syncs with your Google calendars.
- The application has two display modes. In full screen mode, you can see what you are doing in the Handle calendar. Sidebar mode displays your cases next to your inbox, which is invaluable when sorting your inbox.
- Click the Process icon in the Chrome toolbar to create a new case at any time.
Handle is completely free right now, and it even has an iOS app to manage your tasks on the go. But the Gmail extension is where it really shines.
