Touché Lets You Test Your MacBook Pro Touchpad
The touchpad on the new MacBook Pro is a weird thing our friends at Gizmodo discovered , but that doesn’t mean we’re not all a little curious about how it works. While you obviously can’t create a real Touch Bar, Touché is an app that gives you an idea of the Touch Bar support in an app so you can take a digital test.
The idea here is mainly to create an easy-to-use simulator for developers to test their Touch Bar concepts, but it also works great for the rest of us just to see how the Touch Bar works at all. When the app is running, you can invoke it with a keyboard shortcut and you’ll see (on your display, of course) the touchpad options for whatever app you’re using. Gimmick or not, perhaps this will help you decide whether to pull the trigger on that MacBook Pro that has been in your shopping cart for a month.
