Microsoft Visual Studio Runs on Mac
Along with announcing the upcoming release of Visual Studio 2017, Microsoft today announced that Visual Studio will be available for the Mac for the first time.
Visual Studio is Microsoft’s IDE, and for Mac users, the most obvious comparison is Apple’s Xcode. Visual Studio for Mac is the go-to place to build apps for the web, iOS, Android, and wearables using the C # programming language . For the most part, the Mac version of Visual Studio seems to have most of the functionality from its Windows counterpart, although it is still in preview, so some of these are likely to change as we move towards the full version. For now, Mac developers can finally see the other side easily.
