Amazon’s IPhone App Now Has X-Ray Vision to See the Inside of Your Packages
iOS: Due to the upcoming Black Friday sales and the holiday season, Amazon has just added a fun new feature to its iOS app that lets you know what’s inside the package without opening the box.
Just click on the camera in the Amazon app (which you can also use to find things by taking a photo of the item you want) and a new “Pack X-ray” button will appear. Then you show him the barcode on the shipping label of the package. He’ll match it to your recent orders and show you what’s inside. (You can only see what you have ordered yourself; this will not work with random parcels at your neighbor’s doorstep).
What’s the point? Well, if you want to gift-wrap the box, now you can. You don’t even need to wear a lead apron.
