Google’s PhotoScan Makes It Easy to Scan Physical Images
Android / iPhone: Google introduced PhotoScan, a new app that makes scanning and loading old photos much easier.
PhotoScan is not just a photo of a photo. You will take a few shots of the image, and then PhotoScan will automatically detect and remove the edges, straighten the image and eliminate any glare before turning it into a high-resolution file. If you use Google Photos, your scanned images are automatically uploaded to Google Photos.
Speaking of Google Photos, there are also mobile app updates. This includes advanced editing tools such as the ability to adjust exposure, contrast, and more. You also get a set of new filters for one-touch editing. You can find PhotoScan on your app store right now and Google Photos updates are rolling out as well.
