Use a Raspberry Pi Zero to Power the Pixel Art Frame

A low-res digital bezel may not sound as we would like, but master craftsman Frederic Vandenbosch proves the opposite with his elegant little pixel art bezel.

Using a Raspberry Pi Zero and RGB Matrix HAT , Vandenbosch has created a frame that can display whatever he wants on LEDs, like a static image or even real-time updates like the weather or any social media notifications he has you might be. Of course, an LED array is made up of circles, not squares, so it’s not exactly pixel-perfect, but it looks great nonetheless. Go to the Vandenbosch website for a complete guide.
