Triple Monitor, Workspace With Two Desktops
Redditor Chuckles17 just finished setting up their workspace and the end result looks great. Check out this short video tour above and a few more photos of the setup with three monitors and a second workspace on the left below.
When these three monitors are off, it looks like one huge ultra-wide, but when the displays are on, you can see that there are actually three displays on the same console. Here’s a shot with the displays turned off and with the MacBook Pro on the left.
Another great thing about this setup is that almost all of it is DIY, custom made by IKEA, which means it’s available if you want to duplicate the look. Chuckles17 goes into a lot of detail in a Reddit post (link below) and answers a ton of questions about how everything was set up and what he used. For example, about the table, he notes:
This is the collaboration of the parts:
- Worktop – Ikea HAMMARP Worktop Beech
- Drawers on the table – Ikea Alex Drawer
- Table legs – Stainless steel legs
- Cable organizer – Ikea Signum
He also noted that the table was also pretty solid on its legs, and without them it was much more unstable, even if it didn’t look like it. On the side of the equipment rack is a Samson SRK21 Universal Rack , and the case itself is also a Corsair Carbide 540 , a chic case.

If you have your own workspace to show off, share it with us by adding it to our Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Flickr pool . Make sure all photos you add are at least 1280×720 in size. Maintaining their 16: 9 aspect ratio also helps! Include a little text about what you used, how you came up with the design, and any other important details. If your smart organization and good design flair are striking, you could be the next workplace ambassador!
