Sleep With Me Podcast Tells Awesome Boring Bedtime Stories to Help You Fall Asleep
You might think that by now we will all be world sleep champions, but alas, many of us still have trouble falling asleep despite our best efforts . The last thing you want to do is probably listen to a podcast while you’re trying to sleep. But “Sleep with me” is another matter; it is designed to put you to sleep .
I’ve listened to Sleep With Me from time to time for the last couple of years. The podcast is hosted by Scooter, who brings an appropriate amount of monotony to his hilarious bedtime stories. Some of the things he talks about in every episode are so silly, with no real rhyme, flow, or reason, but that’s the whole point.
Most of the time, podcasts aren’t fun enough to be read to the end (if so, it’s willpower). At least for me, I end up disconnecting and falling asleep. I just let the episode play, set the sleep timer to 45 minutes or “When the episode ends,” and then I sleep normally. I sleep soundly for 20 minutes about 90% of the time. The other 10% is probably due to drinking too much caffeine before bed, or reading an email or message that I shouldn’t have sent.
