Steam Adds PS4 Controller Support to Its Beta Client
Windows / Mac / Linux: The PS4 controller is a pretty popular Bluetooth controller, but for whatever reason, getting it to work well with Windows has always been quite difficult. Steam makes this a little easier with a new feature in its beta that includes PS4 controller support.
Once you’ve set up your PS4 controller ( you might need a Sony dongle if it doesn’t work out of the box), you can map not only the buttons, but the trackpad and gyroscope to just about anything. Do you want to. Games can also directly support the controller if they choose, which could potentially add a few more features. The PS4 controller gains access to everything the Steam Controller does, so you might find one as a replacement if you’re not a fan of the official controller. This is still in beta testing, but all things considered, it works pretty well. You can get the client by choosing Beta .
