Mountaintop Desktop
JonRedcorn2, often using a desktop system usually uses Windows, but this time he had the Mac – and it does not prevent him to customize it the way he likes. This is how he set up this beautifully clean desktop.
JonRedcorn2 uses Übersicht, the macOS customization package we talked about earlier . You will need to grab it to get started, but that’s pretty much all you need.
Here are all the details:
- Wallpaper by DeviantArt
- Übersicht customization pack for macOS
- Playbox widget for the Now Playing screen
- Simple clock widget with slightly reduced opacity
- Weather Now Widget
- Dots icon pack to replace system icons
It also offers the Obsidian Menu Bar and Black Dock tools if you are using Mavericks or below (these will work in El Capitan, which is what it does, but apparently they won’t get installed, which is a bummer). Anyway, if you like the look, head over to his Flickr page (link below) to let him know you’re digging a design!
