WhatsApp Begins Testing Video Calls for Beta Users
WhatsApp is one of the largest chat apps in the world, but so far it has been missing one key feature: video calling. If you are using the beta version of WhatsApp, you can try it out.
According to a report by Android Police, WhatsApp quietly began testing video calling on a recent beta. If you want to give it a try, you can either download the latest beta from APK Mirror or subscribe to the official WhatsApp beta program on Google Play . After installing the beta, you may need to clear the app data before the option appears (just make sure to back up your chats first). Currently, you can only make video calls to other beta users. If you call someone without beta, they will only receive a voice call.
Video calls will be broadcast on WhatsApp | Police Android
