Instantly Reset Your Mac Dock to Default Using Terminal Command

Did you manage to somehow render the Mac dock unusable? Or maybe you just want instant access to all this Apple software? If so, Defaults-Write indicates that you can easily revert the default dock.

Open Terminal (Applications> Utilities) and enter:

 remove com.apple.dock by default; killall dock

When you’re done, hit Enter and the dock will return to the bottom and populate with all of Apple’s default apps.
