New Opera Software Workspace in Wroclaw

When Opera Software wanted to open an office in Wroclaw, Poland, they wanted a beautiful office space that also confirmed their commitment to reducing e-waste and protecting the environment. This is a great result and they were kind enough to send us many photos to share.

Opera asked mode: lina for “the greatest office in the world,” and they have a pretty good rival. Their offices also use, among other environmentally friendly materials, over 1,000 old floppy disks in construction and design. The shot above is the entrance to the office, but the shot below gives you a better sense of how to actually work in their premises.

The premises are light and bright, with high ceilings and plenty of work space. It opens up, but at the same time remains cozy and warm. Moving beyond desks and small offices, these workspaces feature beautiful wood, lots of floor-to-ceiling windows, and an open floor plan that, even if a little distracting from long, hard work, is great for when you need to get everyone together. to talk or do something in a group.

Below you will see probably the greenest conference room, but when combined with copper pipes and screens on the walls, it looks distinctly electronic and we love that.

Many thanks to mode: lina for sending us pictures of the new Opera office to highlight them and complimenting them for the design and build. We hope Opera is happy with the space they have created.

If you have your own workspace to show off, share it with us by adding it to our Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Flickr pool . Make sure all photos you add are at least 1280×720 in size. Maintaining their 16: 9 aspect ratio also helps! Include a little text about what you used, how you came up with the design, and any other important details. If your smart organization and good design flair are striking, you could be the next workplace ambassador!
