Retailers Offering Discounts for “good Students”
We know about student discounts , but as noted by Kyle James of Rather Be Shopping, some retailers also offer discounts for “good students.” Some companies and restaurants offer sweet rewards for students who get good grades.
Krispy Kreme , for example, offers a pretty generous reward. They give students a free donut for every A they earn on the report card (maximum six). You don’t even need to buy anything. As James explains, you just need to bring a report card to check.
Baskin Robbins usually offers freebies too. Products vary by location, but according to James, some offer free ice cream or free fondant ice cream. The Pizza Hut Three Ages Program gives students a free personal pizza and a small soft drink if their report card lists at least three A’s. This is valid for primary and secondary school students.
And it’s not just food. Many car insurance companies offer quite significant discounts for students with good grades. For example, State Farm will provide students with a discount of up to 25% on an GPA of 3.0 or higher. Best of all, there is enough savings after college until age 25.
James lists a lot more retailers in his original post, so be sure to check it out at the link below.
