Taskbar Opens Hidden Mode of Freeform Window in Android Nougat
Android ( 7.0 ): We’ve already seen what free-form windows look like in Android . Now, if you are using Android Nougat, you can try them yourself using an app called Taskbar.
This app, which thankfully does not require root, adds a temporary “launch menu” to your screen and access to a list of recent apps. Here, you can run Android apps as windows, just like you would on another operating system whose name eludes me.
Since Google hasn’t officially released (or even promised to release) this feature, there is no guarantee that it will work as expected. It may also break or be removed in a future update. More importantly, it is useless on phones or small tablets that have little screen real estate. However, if you have a larger tablet or just want to experience the future of Android, this is the easiest way to do it.
