PiBakery Makes Setting up Your Raspberry Pi Much Easier
Windows / Mac: Installing and configuring a common version of the Raspberry Pi ‘s main operating system, Raspbian, is straightforward . If you want to do more with it, like setting up your own software to launch at boot or connecting to a Wi-Fi network, it’s a little awkward. PiBakery makes it all a lot easier.
PiBakery basically lets you customize your Raspbian installation even before you download it. This way, you don’t have to manually add scripts, edit settings, or download software every time you create a new SD card. At a basic level, the most obvious use of this is to pre-configure Wi-Fi credentials, but you can also install common software like VNC server, Apache, PHP or whatever, and then configure that software to run every time. when you boot the Pi. You can also perform general tasks such as assigning a static IP address, setting storage modes, and even deleting files.
PiBakery uses an interface very similar to the Scratch programming training program. This makes it intuitive and easy to use. Each command is a block that connects to another block. So, to set up your Wi-Fi credentials, you have to drag the On First Boot blog to the Wi-Fi Setup section and then add your credentials. When you’re done, you can save your settings, write them to your SD card and you’re done.
