The Docking Station Is a Replacement for the Layered Docking Station for OS X
Mac: Ever wished you had more levels in your dock? A station is a replacement dock that allows you to create groups, which can then be grouped into multiple levels.
The dock is a replacement for the dock, but you can customize it to appear at the bottom, left, or right of the screen. After that, you add applications to the main Station area, and then you can create separate folders that open different levels. For example, if you are a programmer, you might have a set of coding applications at one level and application development at another. You can open up to ten levels at a time, although this is probably overkill for most people.
The station is an interesting idea, and while most of us don’t need that level of organization in the Dock, it is useful for some. Either way, you can watch a limited demo of Station to decide if you want to use it.
