Wall-Mounted Workspace
Alex’s workspace is notable not only for having a great looking super-wide and spacious desk, but also for the fact that everything is wall-mounted. The display is attached to a partition, behind which cables are laid, diagonal backlighting is everywhere, yes, his computer is also attached to the wall, no less, in an acrylic case.
The photo above is a nice side shot of the entire setup, with some purple lighting right behind the display and a nice video of its keyboard, mouse, huge mouse pad (although it doesn’t tell us which model of anything it has) and its factory, but you can also see his computer attached to the wall. Here’s another view where you can see the computer (and plant) more clearly:
Here’s a snapshot of the entire workspace, lit both behind the display itself and behind the board it is mounted on:
All in all, this is a really good view. I’d love to know more about what peripherals he uses and how this computer is built (he has some awesome screenshots from games on his Flickr profile linked below), but we’ll agree to that right now.
If you have your own workspace to show off, share it with us by adding it to our Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Flickr pool . Make sure all photos you add are at least 1280×720 in size. Maintaining their 16: 9 aspect ratio also helps! Include a little text about what you used, how you came up with the design, and any other important details. If your smart organization and good design flair are striking, you could be the next workplace ambassador!
