Simplenote for IPhone Adds Markdown Support
iOS: Simplenote has long been one of our favorite note-syncing apps , and the iOS version gets a little better with an update that adds Markdown support.
Markdown support works seamlessly. Tap the “i” icon on a note, turn on Markdown, type your note using standard Markdown formatting, and then slide your finger across the screen to see the Markdown preview. It’s a smart integration that is essentially voluntary, so if you don’t want to use it, you don’t have to. Your basic Simplenote experience may not change if you wish. The update is now available for iOS and will likely be added to other apps in the future.
