No Man’s Sky Triple Monitor Workspace
Working space Locke did not design and super-fashionable, it is like a home office that any of us would be happy to call their own. But it does have three displays with No Man’s Sky wallpaper on it, a comfy chair, a mini fridge, and a place to play your guitar and get creative. This is why we like it.
The photo above is a general plan of the entire setup and you can see this mini wine cooler (which I’m not sure if it’s suitable for wine or other drinks) in the lower right corner, an extra chair and some table space for guests right next to him, and even more sitting on the table to the left of his chair. I especially love the lighting behind his monitors and the way it extends under his desk (an area too often poorly lit) so that he can see the guitar pedal there. You can see a snapshot of the lighting and its cable routing on its Flickr page linked below.
Here’s a closer shot of the desk surface and this really beautiful (but now discontinued) Steelseries Merc Stealth keyboard:
I also believe that many of you either love or hate the fact that the displays are set the way they are (or that the wallpaper is not a pure tension on all of them, and I can understand that). Also, as someone who used to keep a fan on his desk because the office I worked in was hot like everyone else, I appreciate the presence of this Vornado Flippy. I also dig in there for a mouse cable management tool that prevents the mouse cable from getting tangled or sagging too much on the tabletop.
Here’s a shot of his desktop, wireless controller, and by the way, a guitar pedal:
He has a few other photos from the Flickr link below, so if you’re looking for some inspiration for your own little home office, check it out. He says he will be moving soon, so maybe we’ll see an updated version soon, but for now it’s pretty nice.
If you have your own workspace to show off, share it with us by adding it to our Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Flickr pool . Make sure all photos you add are at least 1280×720 in size. Maintaining their 16: 9 aspect ratio also helps! Include a little text about what you used, how you came up with the design, and any other important details. If your smart organization and good design flair are striking, you could be the next workplace ambassador!
