In its latest White Noise 7 update , TMSOFT has revamped the recording process and made it easier to upload personal recordings to the White Noise Market or share them with others on social media. Do you know a great place to listen to bird noise, or do you think your coffee shop has a great atmosphere? Write it down and share it. People have already uploaded flight sounds to specific planes standing by tropical waterfalls and more. In fact, almost any ambient sound in the world can now be distributed. Todd Moore, the creator of the app, hopes White Noise does for sound what Instagram does for photos.
The process of recording and sharing sounds is simple: just tap to start and stop recording sound (it loops for you), add a photo and location (optional) and it will instantly appear in your music library. You can then share it with the marketplace, email the sound to your friends, share it on social media, or back up your sounds to iTunes.
