Three Ways to Check If Pokémon Go Servers Are Down
Pokémon Go has experienced major growth issues since its launch, but not all connectivity issues are due to server congestion or maintenance. These resources will tell you if your connectivity issues are on your side or their side, and help you avoid wasting time.
There is nothing more frustrating for a beginner trainer than heading into a Pokémon capture session and realizing that the servers are down. If you’d like to check the server status ahead of time, people on the YouTube Tech Insider have a few suggestions:
- Check IsPokemonGoDownOrNot.com
- Visit the Pokémon Go section of MMOServerStatus.com
- Visit the main PokemonGo.com website or their official Twitter account.
You can also check other Twitter accounts like @PokemonGoNews or @PoGoServer if these options don’t work. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to get the servers up and running again, but you will at least know if the connection issue is on your side or not.
