Start Tomorrow Tonight If You Want to Hope for Success
Every time you get through the day and end up behind, you say to yourself, “Tomorrow will be better.” Then you go to bed not knowing how to get it. If you want to break the cycle, start tomorrow today.
As the personal finance site How Do I Money explains, getting ahead is most difficult when you expect to be able to get started tomorrow. At the end of each day, you should have a plan for how to tackle tomorrow’s tasks if you want to have any hope of handling the onslaught of to-do’s on your to-do list.
Do you want a better tomorrow? Do you want to finally take matters into your own hands and even be on top and (dare I suggest) to get ahead? Then you better plan ahead to get ahead. Tomorrow starts tonight. Waking up in the morning without a plan and it’s too late. Jumping from one random object to another will not work.
Trying to fit all of tomorrow’s affairs into today can be a futile exercise (although if you can do it, do it!). At the very least, having a plan for how you’ll handle the necessary things means you don’t have to spend time figuring it out the next day. Go through your list every night before going to bed and make sure you know what you need to do the next day so that as soon as the sun rises, you can get down to business.
