Adobe Lightroom Now Supports RAW Files on IOS, Handheld Shooting on Android
Android / iOS: The Adobe Lightroom app is a handy free set of digital editing tools . IPhone is now even more useful with RAW import support, and the Android version has a new manual capture option.
RAW support works exactly as you’d expect. Lightroom can now handle importing, editing, and saving RAW files, so you can easily transfer photos from your camera for editing on the go. The update also adds a new Local Settings feature, with which you can selectively apply exposure, brightness, clarity, and other adjustments to specific parts of a photo. Both new features are currently only available on iOS versions, but Android support is expected to be on the way. Android users are not completely devoid of updates, however, as the in-app camera now supports a fully manual mode that lets you control shutter speed, ISO, white balance, and focus. Both updates are available in their stores right now.
